Chicago, IL – July 31, 2015 – Reliable Parts Holdings LLC (“Reliable” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of Dot Family Holdings, LLC (“DFH”), is pleased to announce a strategic combination with Appliance Parts Depot, LP (“APD”). Specific terms of the transaction were undisclosed. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, APD is a value-added distributor of major appliance parts and related accessories with 14 locations across Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Louisiana, and Florida. APD is an authorized parts supplier for leading manufacturers including Whirlpool, General Electric, Electrolux, and Samsung.

The combined business will be one of the largest distributors of appliance parts and related accessories in North America, consisting of 8 distribution centers and 59 branch locations throughout the United States and Canada. Because of APD’s highly complementary geographic footprint in the United States, no immediate changes are planned at either company. The existing facilities will retain their respective trade names, and all employees will remain in their current roles.
